Cheriyal Mask (Pair)
Cheriyal masks get their name from their place of origin, Cheriyal , in the state of Telangana, India. This Mask is a 400-year-old traditional art form, where wandering storytellers used these masks to build intrigue for the gathered crowd in any festival to tell religious stories and folklore.
These are made with Paper Mache, and painted with acrylic colors and are light weight and durable. Each mask measures 5”x4.5”. and are sold as a pair.
Paper Mache are an more echo friendly way to create art, and are made with 100% recycled material. The outer varnish coat gives longevity and is easy to clean.
