$75.00

Lord Hanuman, the beloved Monkey God in Hindu mythology represents strength devotion, courage and selfless service.

He is an integral character in the ancient epic- The Ramayana. He serves Lord Rama with unwavering loyalty. He represents protection and wellbeing, against evil spirits and supernatural beings.

I make these masks from my own recipe of paper mâché, and paint it with acrylic paints. A coat of varnish is used to protect its surface and is easy to clean.

Masks have been made and used by human beings long before civilization. They were once used by warriors and hunters to terrify their opponents. Large eyes and big teeth soon became symbols of protection, and used to ward of all kinds of disasters. Later they were used in rituals and plays to depict guardians and demigods that protected people.

It is an indoor décor.

Paper Mache clay is an ecofriendly way to make art as it is made with recycled and recyclable material.
