Krishna stealing butter- Patachitra

$38.00

Patachitra is a beautiful ornate style of folk art, usually depicting the various stories of Lord Jagannath. It originated in the state of Odisha, India

This piece is about lord Krishna in his childhood who was very fond of cream.  He with his brother Balram and his friends would steal cream and butter hung high in the rafters from the homes of the Gopikas of Vrindavan.

The print is made on Hight quality archival paper or canvas prints. They look beautiful in larger size, so we don’t offer smaller size unless specifically requested. Original painting in this style is available as custom art on request. Please remember that original hand paintings in this style take time, so please do plan in advance, and look up our custom art policy, under shop policy.
